Lakers Basketball Arena To Be Renamed Crypto.com Arena

The cryptocurrency company has entered into a 20-year rights agreement in the name of the arena. This is the largest US title assignment deal

Beginning December 25, the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be renamed Crypto.com Arena. For this, the cryptocurrency project entered into a 20-year agreement with the company AEG, which owns the stadium.

The stadium is home to world-renowned clubs such as the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers basketball courts and the Los Angeles Kings hockey club. It is the only arena in the National Basketball League that is home to two teams.

Also under the agreement, Crypto.com will become the official cryptocurrency platform partner of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings. At the initial stage of the partnership, a new arena logo will be presented. All signs will be replaced by June 2022.

In the summer of this year, Crypto.com platform signed a partnership agreement with the UFC mixed martial arts promotion.

According to sources from CNBC, the site will pay the UFC $ 175 million over 10 years. As part of the agreement, the Crypto.com logo will be featured on combat gear, including the athletes’ clothing they wear in tournaments, as well as staff clothing.

Also at the end of June, Crypto.com entered into a partnership agreement with the Formula-1 racing series, the deal amounted to $ 100 million. The platform received special advertising slots on the tracks of the championship.
