Senator Lummis: Dollar depreciation accelerates crypto adoption

The politician called Bitcoin a store of value and noted that inflationary adoption is the stupidest way to push people to use digital assets.

Republican senator from Wyoming Cynthia Lummis wrote on Twitter, that the depreciation of the US dollar accelerates adoption cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin.

According to Lummis, this is the stupidest and most inflationary way to push people to use digital assets.

The senator also noted that the main cryptocurrency is a store of value.

“I want the dollar to continue to be the world’s reserve currency. We need to manage costs and support financial innovation in the US, ”added Lummis.

In early July, the senator invited miners leaving China to Wyoming.

According to Lummis, the state is interested in attracting miners of the first cryptocurrency. The politician called bitcoin a great invention, stimulating many innovations.

In June, Lummis announced the purchase of bitcoin at the bottom.

She added that she will continue to invest in the cryptocurrency as its price declines.

The senator also called the advantages of bitcoin. The digital coin could contain the devaluation of the US dollar and other fiat currencies, she said.
