Bitmain Sells Antminer S19j Pro Miners For A Year In Advance

The company announced that it plans to ramp up production of mining equipment, despite the increase in the cost of silicon wafers.

The largest cryptocurrency mining equipment manufacturer Bitmain reported that the Antminer S19j Pro miners were sold out until the third quarter of 2022.

Miner sales for the first and second quarters of next year began in mid-August. Sales of the Antminer S19j Pro with delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2022 will begin in September this year.

On August 25, the main supplier of silicon wafers for Bitmain, the Taiwanese company TSMC, announced an increase in wafer prices by an average of 20%. Despite this, Bitmain noted that the company will increase production capacity.

Antminer S19j Pro is the newest miner model from Bitmain that is used for Bitcoin mining.

The miner’s hash rate is 100 TH / s (terrachesh), and the power consumption is 3100 watts.

In June, Bitmain temporarily suspended the sale of Bitcoin miners. The Chinese company made this decision after prices for cryptocurrency mining equipment plummeted 75% since April.
