The international payment service PayPal will open access to operations with cryptocurrencies for its clients. This was announced on October 21 by the press service of the company.
As specified, users of the service will be able to buy, store and sell cryptocurrency through their PayPal digital wallet. At the first stage, operations with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin will be available.
It is reported that for PayPal customers in the United States, the service will become available in the coming weeks, and in 2021 the company intends to expand opportunities in some international markets.
The press release also states that from the beginning of next year, PayPal customers will be able to use cryptocurrencies to make purchases on 26 million marketplaces around the world.
