Samsung is giving away free NFTs with Galaxy S22 and Tablet S8 pre-orders

Only residents of South Korea will be able to receive non-fungible tokens. To do this, the company uses the Theta Network.

Samsung, together with the developers of Theta Network, announced the distribution of NFT tokens to buyers of the Galaxy S22 smartphone and Tablet S8 tablet, who pre-order the devices, writes Decrypt , citing Theta Labs CEO and co-founder Mitch Liu.

Only residents of South Korea will be able to receive non-fungible tokens. After pre-ordering, buyers will receive a unique code that will need to be entered into ThetaDrop.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 and Tablet S8 have been available since February 9th. The devices will go on sale on February 25.

In 2019, Samsung’s NEXT venture arm invested in Theta Labs. In May 2021, Samsung announced plans to implement the Samsung Blockchain Wallet on most Galaxy devices. Galaxy smartphones also gained the ability to connect to cold wallets such as the Ledger Nano S, Ledger Nano X, and more.
