Bogart recalled the emergence of the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, the decentralized games industry (GameFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT) and other cryptocurrency areas. The emergence of new use cases for digital assets is grabbing the attention of investors, Bogart added.
As of December 2021, software developer MicroStrategy is considered the largest holder of bitcoin among public companies.
The company has accumulated 122.5 thousand BTC worth more than $ 5.6 billion (taking into account the current exchange rate on December 20, according to Bitcoin Treasuries. MicroStrategy last bought cryptocurrency on December 9th.

In second place among Bitcoin holders is the electric car manufacturer Tesla. The company owns $ 43.2 thousand BTC, the value of which is more than $ 1.9 billion. The third place is occupied by the payment company Jack Dorsey Square, which owns 8 thousand BTC worth about $ 368 million.
