There's a new way to try the @Novi digital wallet. Starting today, a limited number of people in the US will be able to send and receive money using Novi on @WhatsApp, making sending money to family and friends as easy as sending a message. 💸💬 pic.twitter.com/dGz3lejri7

Novi is a digital wallet from Meta Corporation (formerly Facebook) that was pilot launched six months ago. It supports the US dollar-backed stablecoin Pax Dollar (USDP) issued by Paxos. The wallet website says that payments work the same way as sending any other attachment on WhatsApp. To access this feature, you must click the paperclip icon on Android or the plus icon on iOS, then select Pay.
There are no fees for sending or receiving cryptocurrency, and there are no restrictions on the frequency of sending payments or fees for withdrawing a stablecoin from a wallet or transferring to local currency.
It is assumed that in the future the option will become available to users from other countries.
