The Ethereum Domain Name Project launched its own ENS token and gave it away for free. 25% of the altcoin emission has been distributed to users, they can pick up their coins until May 4, 2022. Otherwise, the funds will be sent to the vault.
137 thousand addresses took part in the distribution, some of them received coins for tens of thousands of dollars.
The amount was calculated based on the time when the address was created and other parameters. The number of domain names registered per address was not counted.
For example, an unknown user with the poap.eth domain received 787.4 ENS token, which at the current exchange rate of $ 51 is $ 40 thousand. And the domain jessebmiller.eth received over 1,000 tokens worth more than $ 51 thousand.
