Payment terminal manufacturer has partnered with BitPay to support Crypto asset transactions.
Verifone has partnered with cryptocurrency payment system BitPay to allow retailers to accept digital assets as payment.
Buyers will be able to pay at points of sale throughout the United States using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Wrapped Bitcoin and five stablecoins. The functionality will be available next year.
Sellers and buyers using the cryptocurrency will be protected from volatility as BitPay uses technology to protect against price spikes, the release said.
On September 24, Twitter added a feature that allows Bitcoin donations to be sent. At the moment, it is available only on devices with the iOS operating system, in the coming weeks it is promised to be added to Android.
