Major Cryptocurrency Exchanges Crash After Bitcoin Crash

Coinbase, Gemini and Kraken reported outages after sharp 16% drop in first cryptocurrency.

The largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world reported technical problems after the bitcoin rate plummeted by 16%.

As a result of the sharp decline in bitcoin to $ 42.8 thousand, traders lost more than $ 3.5 billion due to the liquidation of positions. The largest loss per trade occurred on the Huobi crypto exchange paired with Bitcoin and amounted to $ 43.7 million.
