Gigabyte Introduces NVIDIA’s First Cryptocurrency Mining GPU

NVIDIA CMP 30HX D6 6G GPU Designed for Ethereum Mining Based on Turing TU116-100 Chip

The manufacturer of computer components Gigabyte introduced the first video card for cryptocurrency mining NVIDIA CMP 30HX D6 6G. Gigabyte is an NVIDIA partner and distributes its products.

At the moment, it is known that the video card from the new Crypto Mining Processor series is based on the Turing TU116-100 GPU with 1408 CUDA cores. According to Videocardz , the hashrate of the Ethereum mining device is 26 MH/s.

Previously, NVIDIA announced that it would create a new line of GPUs for mining in order to end the shortage of graphics cards, which occurred against the backdrop of the confrontation between miners and gamers.

Graphic processors of the Crypto Mining Processor line are more compact than their gaming counterparts and do not have the ability to display an image on the display. This allows the device to maximize the use of resources when mining cryptocurrency.
